Then, as now, there were shops selling inferior products without any competence to choose the best sound. We cut through all the faff and nonsense to present and demonstrate the finest components available.

Over 40 years later there are many more categories of audio and video products and Lyric Hifi still stands by it’s original premise.

This doesn’t always mean the most expensive as there are high end manufacturers for whom we have no respect and choose not to represent. From our starting levels upwards every model is considered and chosen for it’s sonic ability and longevity.

Aftercare is also a large part of our ethos, with many original products from Rega and Linn still being serviceable after 40 years.
We don’t run a general workshop for any manufacturer, however we are committed to looking after our own equipment and our own clients..
