We are delighted to share that Rega won six awards at the 2025 What Hi-Fi? Awards. These were 4 category awards, a product of the year award for the Planar 3 RS edition and the icing on the cake was the outstanding contribution award for Roy Gandy.

Roy is the founder of Rega and the leader for 50 years. He has recently passed ownership of Rega on to an employee trust while still working daily on design and sales. 

Roy is an engineer by training and is always enthused by new technologies, materials and processes. On a recent factory tour he was quizzing one of his engineers on a new 3D printer just installed and what it could do for future projects.

These awards go round in circles. Last year Rega won for the Planar 3 and Planar 8 so this year it was wins for the Planar 1, Planar 3 RS and the Planar 6.

By also winning Product of the Year demand for Planar 3 RS will now be even stronger and we have already sold over 70! Black, white, red and oak finish Planar 3s are also in stock.
