Sonus Faber have been making speakers for a long time. Forty years in fact, which makes them almost as old as Lyric Hifi!

They have always been known for the most amazing finishes and workmanship and been likened to the Italian violin makers of old.

From unashamedly high end products there is now a range starting from very reasonable prices so let's look at a few.

The starting range is Lumina which features 2 bookshelf and 2 floorstanding speakers. Looking at the range I have chosen to stock the Lumina 1 bookshelf at £ 799 and the first floorstander the Lumina 3 at £ 1999, these are really well priced, which you don't expect from a handmade Italian company !

Both have a gorgeous walnut front with the cabinet case in black.

Then when you go up to the Sonnetto range you get even more impressive cabinets and precise drive units.

There are two bookshelf models under £ 2000 and then three floorstanders that take you up to £ 5700

As usual the real woods are beautiful

While we have started with 5 models from two ranges there are more to follow as the range extends to £ 30k plus!
