In my opinion Loewe offer the best pictures and are gorgeous sets with a style that looks great in any home, however a real cinema needs a projector and screen to give that immersive experience.

The single most expensive item is the projector itself, and it so important to get that right.

We currently recommend Epson, and Sony to cover a wide range of prices and capabilities.

Full cinema installs range from around £ 8000 to £ 80,000 so hopefully there is something in there for your budget.

Themescene and Epson both do really cheap projectors from a few hundred, but they are really for data and presentations.

Something good starts around £ 1700. The Epson 9400 at £ 2499 is particularly good

Sony are the most experienced at TRUE 4K projectors and now they have taken this further with laser light sources that last over 30,000 hours.
